The Villagers Present: Gardens of Miami
Hardcover Book | 264 Pages | 2016 The Brooks Garden and Oak Garden at Silver Bluff, subtropical gardens designed by Carlos Somoza Landscape Architecture, are featured in the recently published book, Gardens of Miami. The 264-page color volume, published by the non-profit organization, The Villagers, Inc., contains almost 400 photographs by architecture photographer Steven Brooke with an introduction by University of Miami architecture professor Joanna Lombard and garden narratives written by Elaine Mills and Julie Petrella Arch. In addition to highlighting gardens designed by some of South Florida's most prominent landscape architects and garden designers, Gardens of Miami features gardens curated by private homeowners, including highlights of several South Florida public gardens and the organizations and individuals that steward these magnificent environments.
